The crime laboratory is accredited by ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) doing business as the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB), and has been continuously accredited since 1999. Recent Updates:

Effective12/1/2017, the Johnson County Sheriff's Office Crime Laboratory has temporarily suspended testing in Fire Debris analysis due to a loss of personnel. At this time, we anticipate reinstating this analysis during 2018.
