Upon completing the booking process, inmates are usually given a reasonable amount of time to use the phone in the Booking Area. These phone calls are free of charge for local calls only. Long distance calls can only be completed as collect calls. The telephones provided may not connect with all mobile phone providers.
Inmates will be given other opportunities to utilize the phone upon placement in the Pre-Classification module. Inmates are given different times throughout the day to use the phone during their recreation times.
Telephone calls in the Pre-Classification module are free for local calls but are collect for long distance calls. The person receiving phone calls may also prepay for telephone calls by contacting Global Tel*Link®.
