1. All non-privileged correspondence both entering the facility and mailed out from
the facility must be postcards.
|

|
|
- All postcard must be standard postcards
- No cardstock, index cards, blank cards, or photographs
- Postcards must be no larger than 5" x 7"
- Postcards will have their stamps removed and discarded prior to delivery to the
inmate
- Postcards must be addressed with the return address clearly readable
- There will be no limit on how many postcards you can mail/receive but you are limited
on how much you may keep in your cell
- Unacceptable postcards will be returned to sender
- defaced or altered postcards are unacceptable
- no plastic/wrappings on postcards
- no labels or stickers will be accepted
- no postcards with watermarks or stains
- no postcards with biohazards, including lipsticks or perfumes
- no postcards depicting nudity, weapons, alcohol, or gang references

2. Legal mail (privileged mail) will remain unchanged and envelopes will continue
to be sold on commissary for this purpose only. |

- All legal mail must be clearly marked from/to a qualifying party for privileged
mail.

3. Newspapers or Magazines |
|
|
|
- Prior approval from the Classification supervisor or their designee is necessary
for Newspapers or Magazines.
- Due to contraband concerns, publication inserts shall be removed prior to delivery
to the inmate.
- Newspapers and Magazines must be sent from the publisher and can be denied if found
to threaten the safety or security of the facility.

4. Packages are still not accepted without prior approval. The definition of a package
is any item requiring postage more than the cost of a first class stamp.
