Detention Processing
When someone is arrested, they are brought into the Adult Detention Center via our
Intake Processing room. |
While there, they are searched for contraband (such as weapons, drugs, etc.). |
They walk through our metal detectors, and are then placed in a holding cell while
their paperwork is entered into our computers. |
Once they are taken out of the holding cell, they are searched again to make sure
they weren't able to hide anything from the arresting officer. |
It's now time for their fingerprints and palm prints to be scanned. |
After that, they have their photographs taken to include a front and side profile
facial picture as well as visible tattoos. |
