*	Inmates can purchase a variety of items to include hygiene items, undergarments, snacks, meal replacements, postcards, medication, etc.

*	We provide a variety of programs.
What sort of medical/dental care can the inmate receive?
*	You can view our information on our medical department.
What does it mean when an inmate is farmed out?
*	We have various counties across Kansas that we contract out bedspace. Inmates who don’t have upcoming court or who are serving their sentence may be sent to one of these other counties while in our custody when our facilities become full.
Can I write an inmate a letter or send packages?
*	Inmates can receive postcards as long as they follow these specifications. Letters or packages sent without prior approval will be returned to sender. Also remember to put a return address on the post card or it will not be delivered.
I need to turn myself in to serve my sentence, or because I discovered I have a warrant. What do I do?
*	You need to report to the Adult Detention Center Lobby as directed by the court. If you are staying longer than forty-eight hours, it is suggested that you wear white underclothes so you can keep them once moved into a module.
I don't want to receive calls from someone trying to contact me in the jail. What do I do?
*	You can contact GTL as directed.
I have a no contact order out on a person in the jail. Is there a way to be notified if they are released from custody?
*	You can call 913-715-5900 and inform them of your request.
I was told I needed to set up an account with GTL. How do I do that?
*	You can set up an account by following the instructions.
When is your facility open?
*	Our normal lobby hours are 8am-10pm. However, we are a 24/7 facility, and always open for releases and bookings.
I can't find an inmate listed as being in custody, but I know they are there. What do I do?
*	You might try maiden names, alias names, or hyphenated names.
My car was towed after I was arrested. How do I find out where it ended up?
*	You can contact the arresting agency and they can look up what company towed your car.
